Bio~ Carol has been a freelance writer blogger, and reporter for Mooresville Weekly with 600 article credits. Working with autistic children inspired her debut novel, Lake Surrender which won an Illumination award. She has also written Changing Zip Codes, both published by Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas.
She speaks at writing conferences, MOPS and women’s groups about personality temperaments and friendship and has been certified by CLASSeminar as a personality trainer.
Married to John her muse, they live in Mooresville, North Carolina. They have four children, eight grandchildren. Free time is spent hiking, playing mandolin, and trying out new recipes from Pioneer Woman’s website.

Hurts that go bump in the night. This is a two-part talk helping women understand what obstacles keep them from having close friendships. Subjects cover anxiety, perfectionism and procrastination. Talks are a half hour each.

Juniper at Easter. How do you handle grief? There’s no handbook for coping with some of our deepest sorrows in life. King David wrote an entire book of the bible that probes the depths of tragedy. Hear Carol’s story and the happy ending. Carol has had her share of family sorrow. She shares what lessons she’s learned from Juniper.
